INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the OEM facility Tour and introduction to our remanufacturing process. Please explore our facility by using your arrow keys or any one of the other controls. We hope you enjoy the tour.

FACILITY TOUR
CORE RECEIVING
Where all components enter the facility. Once unloaded from a flatbed, a thorough inspection of the component is done to record the part number, serial number, and the condition of the component. This information is compiled into the receiving report, and used to create a Work Order. Once a Work Order is created, the Customer Service team confirms the work to be done on the component.

FACILITY TOUR
DISASSEMBLY
Where the components are disassembled into individual piece parts (right down to nuts and bolts). This is where the condition of the component is observed by the technical team in order to write detailed reports for the customer

CLEANING COMPONENTS
All of the components flowing through OEM's facility must be thoroughly cleaned in order to be properly inspected. Parts are blasted using plastic media, sand, and shot peen, as well as washed in soap typhoon and caustic washers.

INSPECTION
Parts are sent to the inspection area to determine if they are reusable as-is or if they are eligible for salvage. Various NDT (nondestructive testing) techniques are used (ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant) to determine reusability.Parts are sent to the inspection area to determine if they are reusable as-is or if they are eligible for salvage. SALVAGE
OEM’s comprehensive 75,000 square foot machine shop can accommodate all machining work that may be required for the remanufacture of a component, including spray and fabrication welding capabilities, chroming, and HVOF.

SUB-ASSEMBLY
In 2008, OEM found out that building engines could be done faster and with more consistency by assembling sub-components of the engines separately and then bolting them on when the engine is ready for them. TESTING
All engines and transmissions are tested in our state of the art testing facilities. There are two engine dynamome-ters. The smaller dyno is rated for 2750 hp and the larger dyno is rated for 7000 hp. The large transmission test bench is rated for 600 hp to test the 797 transmissions.
